Scott Gordon

Acquisitions, Development & Leasing

Scott co-founded Gordon Partners in 2006 and oversees Developments, Acquisitions, and Leasing for the company.  His focus includes coordinating financing for the company’s projects and executing strategies to re-position certain properties within the Gordon Partners portfolio.  He has successfully led Gordon Partners in the completion of several ground-up developments as well as in the identification and acquisition of under-performing assets for redevelopment throughout the state of Texas.

Scott is a graduate of Houston’s Episcopal High School and Southern Methodist University.

 

Matthew Gordon

Management & Operations

Matt is the President of Gordon Partners Management. He oversees operations, compliance, accounting, property management and construction. Since 2007 he has completed $80 million of construction – overseeing architects, engineers, budgets, construction, jurisdictional requirements and coordination with utility companies/districts and coordinated over 230 tenant build outs; including office, retail, medical and restaurants.

Matt is a graduate of The Kinkaid School in Houston and Southern Methodist University. He is a licensed Real Estate Salesperson in the State of Texas. Matt served on the Board of Young Texans Against Cancer’s (YTAC) Houston Chapter from 2006-2011 and then as President of Young Texans Against Cancer’s Executive Board from 2011-2013. He previously served as President of the Alumni Board of The Kinkaid School.

Ryan Gordon

Design & Master Planning

Ryan holds a Master of Architecture from Tulane University and is an Associate member of the AIA. Ryan’s responsibilities at Gordon Partners include design, permit preparation and construction management. Ryan designed the $16 million, 100,000 sq.ft. Waterpoint retail center and master planned the adjacent Multi-Family tracts. He works with prospective tenants on space plans and produces construction documentation for tenant build-outs. Ryan also consults with tenants and their architects to modify corporate prototypes to fit within the architectural theme of the Center.

Ryan is a graduate of The Kinkaid School in Houston and earned a Masters of Architecture at Tulane University.

Doug George

Brokerage & Development

Doug’s primary focus is on development. The bulk of his efforts are spent developing freestanding properties for national retailers. Doug also brings years of experience in retail leasing and tenant representation, land acquisition and disposition services, 1031 exchanges and brokerage of income producing properties. Prior to joining Gordon Partners, Doug carried out retail project leasing at NewQuest Properties where he was also responsible for tenant representation services for several national retailers such as McDonald’s.

Doug is a graduate of The Kinkaid School in Houston and The University of Texas and he earned his Masters in Business Administration at Southern Methodist University.

Brooklyn Taylor

Marina & Asst. Property Manager

Brooklyn joined Gordon Partners in 2025 as a Marina Manager, Assistant Property Manager and Concierge Manager. She has over five years of experience within the hospitality industry focused on sales and management. Brooklyn’s role will include leasing Waterpoint Marina, oversight of the onsite maintenance and porter team at Waterpoint, tenant-landlord relationships and concierge for the Salons by JC at Waterpoint.

Brooklyn obtained her Associate’s Degree from Blinn College and her Bachelor’s Degree in agribusiness from Sam Houston State University.

Jake Jones

Construction Manager

Jake joined Gordon Partners as a Construction Manager in 2022. His role is to oversee tenant improvements and assist in construction management of ground up developments and remodels. Jake has 18 plus years of experience in construction management. Prior to joining the firm, he has successfully managed ground up multi-family construction and commercial remodels with projects ranging upwards of $90M spanning various property types to include restaurants, medical, office and retail.

Jake graduated from Texas Tech University with a degree in Business Management.

Moiana Rajput

Accounting Compliance/Tax Coordinator

Moiana joined Gordon Partners in 2022 to oversee accounting compliance and tax coordination. She is a CPA.

Jenny Nguyen

Leasing & Marketing Associate

Jenny joined Gordon Partners in 2025 as a leasing and marketing associate. Jenny has 15 years of experience in real estate sales, design, property management and leasing.  Her duties will include project leasing and marketing.

Jenny earned her associated degree and has studied interior design.

Belia Wiser

Sr. Property Administrator

Belia Wiser joined Gordon Partners in 2021 as Property Administrator.  She has over 25 years of real estate administration experience in commercial, office and retail property management.

Belia’s main role is supporting three property managers, as well as interacting with tenants, vendors, and in-house maintenance personnel.  She prepares monthly reports, tenant correspondence, manages delinquencies, and maintains vendor and tenant insurance compliance.

Belia is a native Houstonian, fluent in Spanish, holds a Texas Real Estate Salesman License, and is a Notary Public.

Mari Castillo

Paralegal/Transaction Manager

Mari Castillo joined Gordon Partners in 2026 as a Paralegal. She brings a focused background in legal support with an emphasis on real estate transactions, contract administration, and regulatory compliance. Her experience includes reviewing and organizing legal documents, coordinating due diligence materials, and supporting the preparation and execution of transactional agreements.

In her role, Mari assists with the review of leases, letters of intent, and purchase and sale agreements, while maintaining accurate records and tracking critical deadlines. She works closely with outside counsel to support compliance, coordination and tenant-landlord matters.

Mari earned her Paralegal Degree from the Center for Advanced Legal Studies and will receive her Bachelor of Arts in Business and Law from the Center for Advanced Legal Studies.
