Scott co-founded Gordon Partners in 2006 and oversees Developments, Acquisitions, and Leasing for the company. His focus includes coordinating financing for the company’s projects and executing strategies to re-position certain properties within the Gordon Partners portfolio. He has successfully led Gordon Partners in the completion of several ground-up developments as well as in the identification and acquisition of under-performing assets for redevelopment throughout the state of Texas.
Scott is a graduate of Houston’s Episcopal High School and Southern Methodist University.
Matt is the President of Gordon Partners Management. He oversees operations, compliance, accounting, property management and construction. Since 2007 he has completed $80 million of construction – overseeing architects, engineers, budgets, construction, jurisdictional requirements and coordination with utility companies/districts and coordinated over 230 tenant build outs; including office, retail, medical and restaurants.
Matt is a graduate of The Kinkaid School in Houston and Southern Methodist University. He is a licensed Real Estate Salesperson in the State of Texas. Matt served on the Board of Young Texans Against Cancer’s (YTAC) Houston Chapter from 2006-2011 and then as President of Young Texans Against Cancer’s Executive Board from 2011-2013. He currently serves on the Alumni Board of The Kinkaid School.
Ryan holds a Master of Architecture from Tulane University and is an Associate member of the AIA. Ryan’s responsibilities at Gordon Partners include design, permit preparation and construction management. Ryan designed the $16 million, 100,000 sq.ft. Waterpoint retail center and master planned the adjacent Multi-Family tracts. He works with prospective tenants on space plans and produces construction documentation for tenant build-outs. Ryan also consults with tenants and their architects to modify corporate prototypes to fit within the architectural theme of the Center.
Ryan is a graduate of The Kinkaid School in Houston and earned a Masters of Architecture at Tulane University.
Doug’s primary focus is on development. The bulk of his efforts are spent developing freestanding properties for national retailers. Doug also brings years of experience in retail leasing and tenant representation, land acquisition and disposition services, 1031 exchanges and brokerage of income producing properties. Prior to joining Gordon Partners, Doug carried out retail project leasing at NewQuest Properties where he was also responsible for tenant representation services for several national retailers such as McDonald’s.
Doug is a graduate of The Kinkaid School in Houston and The University of Texas and he earned his Masters in Business Administration at Southern Methodist University.
Gary Phillips leads the management team responsible for property management and day-to-day operations of the company’s real estate holdings and other third party managed properties. Gary joined Gordon Partners with over twenty five years of managing, leasing and development experience in the commercial real estate industry. Gary is focus on being a service-oriented business professional who nurtures relationships with all facets of the industry. Recognized for creating and maintaining strong, long-term, positive relationships with institutions and practitioners that interface with commercial real estate management, including brokers, lenders, investors, tax and accounting professionals, tenants, and maintenance vendors.
Gary is a graduate of Texas A & M University with a Bachelor of Science degree in business. Gary is a member of the Institute of Real Estate Management, where he earned his Certified Property Manager designation and is a licensed Texas Real Estate Broker.
Christiana was one of three original hires by Gordon Partners Management in 2013 as a book keeper. After a brief departure she rejoined Gordon Partners as a Property Manager in 2018 and was promoted to Senior Property Manager in 2022. She manages in excess of 1 million square feet and supervises the maintenance team.
In her role as Senior Property Manager she oversees a team of property managers, administrators, and site porters. She is responsible for the day-to-day implementation of all policies, procedures, and programs to ensure the properties are professionally managed and provide excellent customer service.
Christiana’s strengths include cultivating and supporting her team, as well as maintaining the landlord’s budgets, and tenant and vendor relationships.
Christiana has 18+ years of industry experience and has managed various property types to include retail, office, medical, and multifamily. Christiana has an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Real Estate from Houston Community College. She is a member of the Institute of Real Estate Management where she holds an Accredited Commercial Manager (ACoM) designation, and is a Certified Property Manager (CPM).
James joined Gordon Partners Management in 2019 as the Marina Manager for Waterpoint Marina. James’ role expanded to property management of the Waterpoint mixed use development and West Fork Shopping center in 2020 and 2021, respectively due to his strong organizational skills and attention to detail. James grew up on Lake Conroe and has over 10 years’ experience in commercial real estate operations and marina operations and leasing. James is also a board member on the Conroe Tourist Advisory Council.
James graduated from University of Texas at Tyler with a Bachelors in Business Management and a minor in Marketing.
Stephen joined Gordon Partners Management in 2023 as a property manager. Stephen has approximately 9 years of industrial and retail experience with portfolios ranging from 1 million to 6.7 million square feet. Prior to joining Gordon Partners, Stephen worked his way from a property management assistant to property manager at Holt Lunsford and NewQuest Properties. Stephen’s responsibilities include landlord-vendor and tenant-landlord relationships, budgeting, property quality control and lease administration.
Belia Wiser joined Gordon Partners in 2021 as Property Administrator. She has over 25 years of real estate administration experience in commercial, office and retail property management.
Belia’s main role is supporting three property managers, as well as interacting with tenants, vendors, and in-house maintenance personnel. She prepares monthly reports, tenant correspondence, manages delinquencies, and maintains vendor and tenant insurance compliance.
Belia is a native Houstonian, fluent in Spanish, holds a Texas Real Estate Salesman License, and is a Notary Public.
Jake joined Gordon Partners as a Construction Manager in 2022. His role is to oversee tenant improvements and assist in construction management of ground up developments and remodels. Jake has 18 plus years of experience in construction management. Prior to joining the firm, he has successfully managed ground up multi-family construction and commercial remodels with projects ranging upwards of $90M spanning various property types to include restaurants, medical, office and retail.
Jake graduated from Texas Tech University with a degree in Business Management.
America joined Gordon Partners in 2023 providing administrative support for property management and accounting. Her primary role is tenant and vendor insurance compliance.
Karen joined Gordon Partners Management in 2015 as an Assistant Property Manager and Bookkeeper. She brings over 20 years of commercial property management and bookkeeping experience. Karen’s duties include accounts receivables, rent roll maintenance, banking and book keeping compliance. She is a Notary Public.
Blake joined Gordon Partners Management in 2019 as a book keeper. Blake’s role quickly grew focusing on accounts receivables and backend lease administration related to the Waterpoint Marina. Before joining the company, Blake spent 5 years in the Army as a military police officer, including tours in Kuwait. Previous to Gordon Partners, Blake worked as a construction crew leader for over 2 years building and installing equipment for major retailers.
Moiana joined Gordon Partners in 2022 to oversee accounting compliance and tax coordination. She is a CPA.
Berni joined Gordon Partners in 2020. Her smile is the first thing visitors see when they walk in the door. She is a notary public.
