Scott co-founded Gordon Partners in 2006 and oversees Developments, Acquisitions, and Leasing for the company. His additional responsibilities include coordinating financing for the company’s projects and executing strategies to re-position certain properties within the Gordon Partners portfolio. In his career, Scott has completed over 500 lease transactions accounting for approximately 1.5 million square feet of retail space. He has successfully led Gordon Partners in the completion of ground-up developments as well as in the identification and acquisition of under-performing assets for redevelopment throughout the state of Texas. Scott began his career at Levcor, where he specialized in project leasing, tenant representation, and land sales.
Scott is a graduate of Houston’s Episcopal High School and Southern Methodist University.
Matt is the President of Gordon Partners Management. He is also the development Project Manager representing Gordon Partners in over $30 million of construction – overseeing architects, engineers, budgets, construction, jurisdictional requirements and coordination with utility companies/districts. He has coordinated over 60 tenant build outs; including office, retail, medical and restaurants. Matt’s responsibilities also include asset management for Gordon Partners.
Matt is a graduate of The Kinkaid School in Houston and Southern Methodist University. He is a licensed Real Estate Salesperson in the State of Texas. Matt served on the Board of Young Texans Against Cancer’s (YTAC) Houston Chapter from 2006-2011 and then as President of Young Texans Against Cancer’s Executive Board from 2011-2013.
Ryan holds a Master of Architecture from Tulane University and is an Associate member of the AIA. Ryan’s responsibilities at Gordon Partners include design, permit preparation and construction management. Ryan designed the $16 million, 100,000 sq.ft. Waterpoint retail center and master planned the adjacent Multi-Family tracts. He works with prospective tenants on space plans and produces construction documentation for tenant build-outs. Ryan also consults with tenants and their architects to modify corporate prototypes to fit within the architectural theme of the Center.
Ryan is a graduate of The Kinkaid School in Houston and earned a Masters of Architecture at Tulane University.
Doug’s primary focus is on development. The bulk of his efforts are spent developing freestanding properties for national retailers. Doug also brings years of experience in retail leasing and tenant representation, land acquisition and disposition services, 1031 exchanges and brokerage of income producing properties. Prior to joining Gordon Partners, Doug carried out retail project leasing at NewQuest Properties where he was also responsible for tenant representation services for several national retailers such as McDonald’s.
Doug is a graduate of The Kinkaid School in Houston and The University of Texas and he earned his Masters in Business Administration at Southern Methodist University.
Gary Phillips leads the management team responsible for property management and day-to-day operations of the company’s real estate holdings and other third party managed properties. Gary joined Gordon Partners with over twenty five years of managing, leasing and development experience in the commercial real estate industry. Gary is focus on being a service-oriented business professional who nurtures relationships with all facets of the industry. Recognized for creating and maintaining strong, long-term, positive relationships with institutions and practitioners that interface with commercial real estate management, including brokers, lenders, investors, tax and accounting professionals, tenants, and maintenance vendors.
Gary is a graduate of Texas A & M University with a Bachelor of Science degree in business. Gary is a member of the Institute of Real Estate Management, where he earned his Certified Property Manager designation and is a licensed Texas Real Estate Broker.
Andrew joined Gordon Partners as a Leasing & Development Associate in 2013. Prior to joining the firm, Andrew worked as a civil engineer in Nashville, TN, and as an architectural designer in Denver, CO. In addition to brokerage services, Andrew assists with much of the firm’s marketing efforts. Andrew is a LEED Accredited Professional and is a licensed Real Estate Salesperson in the State of Texas.
Andrew earned a Civil Engineering degree from Vanderbilt University and holds a Master of Architecture and MBA degrees from University of Colorado Denver. Andrew is the current president of Commercial Real Estate Network (CREN) gulf coast.
Karen joined Gordon Partners Management in 2015 as an Assistant Property Manager and Bookkeeper. She brings over 20 years of commercial property management and bookkeeping experience. Karen’s duties as an Assistant Property Manager include correspondence between landlord and tenant, property inspections and vendor relations. Her accounting responsibilities include all receivables and payables, record keeping, as well as, tax and insurance compliance. She is also a Notary Public.
Phillip joined Gordon Partners as a Leasing Associate in 2017. His focus is project leasing for Gordon owned properties and new developments. Prior to joining Gordon Partners, Phillip worked as a real estate agent for Austin City Realty securing housing and apartments to students in the University of Texas area. Phillip graduated from the University of Texas with a Bachelor of Science in Communication Studies and received minors in Real Estate as well as Business.
Christiana Webber rejoined Gordon Partners Management in 2018 as a Property Manager. Her role as Property Manager includes maintaining landlord and tenant relationships, property inspections, financial reporting, and vendor relations. She has 14 years of industry experience and has managed various property types to include retail, office, medical, and multifamily.
Christiana has an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Real Estate from Houston Community College. She is a member of the Institute of Real Estate Management where she holds an Accredited Commercial Manager (ACoM) designation, and is a Certified Property Manager (CPM) candidate.
Luke joined Gordon Partners Management in 2018 as a property administrator. His duties include vendor and tenant compliance, accounts payable support, tenant improvement support and correspondence.
Prior to joining Gordon Partners Management, Luke had spent 14 years working for oil and gas companies and family offices assisting in title, lease and legal support capacities. Luke is a Notary Public.
Efren “Bobby” Moreno joined Gordon Partners in 2018 as Maintenance Director. Prior to Gordon Partners, Bobby worked for Criterion Group as a Marketing Assistant where he obtained both his Series 6 and Series 7 licenses. After returning to Houston in 2003 and working for various property management companies, Bobby started his own property maintenance business in 2005, handling an array of property management duties for some of his clients (local and out of state owners), including several properties for Gordon Partners. Bobby’s duties at Gordon Partners include overseeing facility maintenance, CAM budgets, vendor relationships, maintenance staff and construction management.
Bobby attended the University of Houston Downtown where he was studying architectural drafting. He went on to graduate from the University of British Columbia, Certification Program for web programming and design. He also attended the Vancouver Film School with certification in Computer Animation Programming.
